Making Deposits

Deposits may be submitted by uploading directly into Box or by physically shipping media to an Aptus office. Upload links and instructions are provided by your project manager.

Recommended Deposit Guidelines

  • Use party name (first three letters) followed by Bates stamp numbers
  • Organize by party name and document type
  • Maintain legible files scanned at 300 DPI minimum
  • Provide searchable PDFs whenever possible
  • Include beginning and ending Bates numbers in file names
  • Accompany each deposit with a detailed index

Include a Notice of Compliance signed by counsel

Case Management Order Requirements

Aptus requires a copy of your case management order or any protective orders governing data storage, access, and security protocols.

Case Conclusion Options

Please notify Aptus within 30 days of case conclusion. Data may be:

  • Destroyed and removed from Box
  • Returned for a processing fee
  • Retained in Box for a monthly storage fee
